FIRST SECOND OF BIG BANG

         

At 1 x 10-43 seconds,

           the universe was incredibly small, dense and hot. This homogeneous area of the universe spanned a region of only 3.9 x 10-34 inches.During this phase, big bang theorists believe, matter and energy were inseparable.The four primary forces of the universe were also a united force.at that time The temperature of this universe was 1 x 1032 degrees Kelvin.the quark particles was made during this phase.  

At 1 x 10-35 seconds,

          as universe expanded,its cooled and energy and matter decoupled.the universe filled with a nearly equal amount of matter and anti-matter. There was more matter than anti-matter, so while most particles and anti-particles annihilated each other, some particles survived. These particles would later combine to form all the matter in the universe.so you can imagine the amount of matter + anti-matter was produce while big bang.

At 1 x 10-11 seconds,

          during this phase the unified force broke down into components. The forces of electromagnetism and weak nuclear force split off. Photons outnumbered matter particles, but the universe was too dense for light to shine within it.

At 0.01 seconds,

          The universe continued to expand and cool, and the subatomic particles formed during first phase began to bond together. They formed neutrons and protons.during this phase, universe still too hot and dense 
so that it was a mixer of the electrons, protons and neutrons.

  1. Actually this is a little bit messed up - no quarks existed in the first epoch. This period is known as the Planck era; time, space and anything else distinct practically did't exist at all back then because at the Planck scale they couldn't be defined. During this period ALL 4 forces were combined. When gravity broke away, then remained the other 3. This decoupling released some energy and also made our small young universe expand a little bit. The temperature at this stage was arouund 10^16 GeV. This is the period known as GUT era (from Grand unification theory). After this relatively slow enlargement of the universe it cooled down a little bit and a second phase transition occured - the strong interaction broke away and became distinct. Temperature was somewhere between 10^15-10^14 GeV. At this moment there were space-time (which is the field through which gravity interactions propagate), the field of the strong interaction and one combined field known as the inflaton, that , at this moment, still incorporated all the other known quantum field, including those of electromagnetism and the weak interaction. The inflaton has the peculiar properties in that it has large potential energy which defines the value of the vacuum energy; it is known also as cosmological constant. Nowadays the energy of the vacuum/the cosmological constant is the thing that makes space-time expand at accelerated rate (which we know about from astronomical observations and the receeding of galaxies). This same thing happened back then when the inflaton field emerged, but since it had huge potential energy the expansion was many orders of magnitude more rapid than today. And because of this the small newly born patch of space-time at this moment expanded 10^60 times in a fraction of a second (approx. 10^-30 sec). This period is known as inflationatory epoch. When the field potential decreased the accelerated expansion stopped and the space of our universe continued to expand but at much slower rate because of the initial "kick" from inflation. The field condensed in massive particles known as inflaton particles which are short lived and metastable. They quickly decayed as the universe cooled even more into the other known fields an particles. This is known as reheating; it occured at 10^12 GeV. At this moment the birth of our normal barionic matter was given. Only two fields remained unseparated still - those of the weak interaction and electromagnetism. They finally decoupled at much lower energy level - around 246GeV.
